Cabs Are Here!

Cabs Are Here is a website that was done from the ground up with a little help from a premade script. Please read below to get an idea of what this website is all about!

Everyday taxicabs give rides to countless people, taking them to and from all sorts of interesting places around the world. Popular destinations include the likes of nightclubs, hotels, casinos, airports, and as you probably guessed already, BARS. What happens during those cab rides are stories, photos, and videos many people are willing to share with the rest of the world.

CabsAreHere.com was founded in June 2011 by Ryan O’Donnell as a website for people to share their cab adventures to entertain and be appreciated by those who have experienced similar encounters. So whether your cab driver was totally out of his mind one night, or your friends decided to have a wild dance party in the backseat, tell us about it here!

We have two “Ride Types” for posting encounters; Quick Rides are brief descriptions that tell your story in a sentence or two. Full Rides are longer, more detailed versions of your story that usually exceed a paragraph or so in length. They acknowledge that some stories need to be told in their entirety in order to be fully appreciated. You decide which ride fits your tale. Upload a picture or youtube video into either ride to further illustrate what words oftentimes cannot.
Some pictures won’t require captions!

To help conceal the identity of our users, CabsAreHere.com will never publish full names (first and last) on our Web Site, with the only exception being our founder. To further protect user-privacy, all posts will be published under an anonymous user-submitted “Nickname”. We reserve the right to post edited/modified portions of any and all user submitted content.
